As of Wednesday, July 2, 2008 the following state parks have available RV or tent campsites. Adair: 4 RV. Alabaster Caverns: 11 RV. Beavers Bend: Tent only. Bernice: Tent only-No RV sites open due to high water. Brushy Lake 2 RV. Cherokee/Snowdale/Spavinaw: Tent only. Cherokee Landing: Tent only. Fort Cobb: Tent only. Foss: Tent only. Great Plains: 30RV. Great Salt Plains: 51 RV. Greenleaf: 21 RV, 30 tent. Honey Creek: 6 (50amp)RV. Tent available. Keystone: Tent only. Lake Eufaula: 15RV, 70 tent. Lake Murray: Tent only. Lake Texoma: 21 RV, 50 electric only RV sites in the overflow area. Lake Thunderbird: Clear Bay, Turkey Pass and Rose Rock campgrounds have a combined amount of 50 RV sites available. McGee Creek: None. Natural Falls: Tent only. Okmulgee/Dripping Springs: Electric only RV sites in Clovis Point overflow. Tent sites available. Osage Hills: 11 RV. Robbers Cave: 23 RV in Equestrian Campground. Tent camping available. Roman Nose: 10 RV, 20 tent. Sequoyah: Tent camping only. Sequoyah Bay: 32 electric only RV sites in the overflow area. 20 tent sites. Tenkiller: 46 RV, 115 tent. Twin Bridges: 25 RV, 95 tent. Wah-Sha-She: 20 RV. Walnut Creek: 40 RV.


Flooding Update

Due to excessive rainfall, some state parks in northeastern Oklahoma are experiencing high water conditions. Some campgrounds remain closed. State parks in the affected include:
Bernice: No RV camping. Tent only. Cherokee-Riverside campground-closed. Twin Bridges-Sites 7-16 closed in lower area only. Sequoyah Campgrounds: Paradise Cove-limited tent only. Picnic shelter-closed. Cherokee and Seminole-limited RV sites. Choctaw-limited RV sites open. Creek-tent camping only. Sequoyah Golf Course: Front nine holes closed. Sequoyah Bay Campgrounds: Attakullakulla sites 1-24-closed. Pushmataha sites 62-77-closed. Pole 1-5 open.
