Owned and operated by Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Crowder Lake University Park offers 22 acres of park grounds and 158 lake acres. Crowder Lake has been designated a Trophy Bass Lake by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.

Formerly a state park, this area offers 22 acres of park grounds and 158 lake acres. Facilities include a ropes course, rappelling tower, rock climbing wall, canoe rentals and interpretive nature trail. The park has five shaded concrete RV sites with water, electric, picnic tables, cooking grills and dump station. There are seven covered picnic tables with cooking grills available for tent camping. Handicap accessible bathroom and shower facilities are located near the camping sites. Rates: RV $16 per night. Lake is stocked with black and white bass, crappie, blue gill and channel catfish. Enjoy the one mile, scenic asphalt trail that winds throughout the park. The trail is handicap accessible and great for walking, jogging, bicycling and skating. Entrance gate is closed from 10pm-6am.

Directions: From I-40, take Exit 80 (Hwy 54) and go 7 miles S. At the Crowder Lake sign turn E and go 2 miles on paved road. At the next intersection turn S, and go 1 mile. At next intersection turn W. The park is approximately 3/4 mile.
