Recreation opportunities at this state park include RV camping, tent camping, swimming, fishing, and more. The park features 75 RV sites with showers and dump stations. 50 tent sites are also available. Okmulgee State Park also features lighted boat ramps and docks, picnic areas, grills, and pavillions. A three mile hiking trail, part of which is ADA accessible, is also located on site.
A public hunting area is located on the north side of Okmulgee Lake. The park is located adjacent to Dripping Springs State Park and Dripping Springs Lake.
